ABOUT US
HISTORY
The Association of the Inside Out Integrated Theatre Project began as a venture of the Behaviour Support Team at the University of Calgary in the autumn of 1991. It soon became apparent that there was a great need for accessible theatre training opportunities. In 1996 the Association became incorporated, and obtained charitable status in 1997.
The current programming developed by Inside Out Theatre serves to increase functional literacy, self-confidence, interpersonal skills, and self-advocacy for our participants. All programs also contain components that aim to involve the broader community in learning, resulting in enhanced knowledge of disability culture and issues.
OUR MISSION
Inside Out Theatre offers quality drama education to people with disabilities, where we enable them to experience fellowship, personal development, and the pleasure of creativity.
OUR VISION
By utilizing the dramatic arts, Inside Out Theatre will contribute to a community in which our participants achieve a high quality of life and are recognized as respected citizens.

"Our message is serious, Our presentation hilarious!"
